Looking Back on 2025: An Incredible Year at Southern Brush
As we look back on 2025, one word comes to mind: incredible.
This past year was filled with hard work, meaningful projects, and the opportunity to serve so many families and property owners across North Georgia. From restoring roofs after storms to transforming land into beautiful, usable spaces, 2025 reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
At Southern Brush Landworks & Construction, we had the honor of helping countless homeowners protect what matters most — their homes, their land, and their peace of mind.
Restoring Homes, One Roof at a Time
Roofing was a major focus in 2025, and we are incredibly proud of the number of roofs we were able to restore to their beautiful, like-new state. Whether caused by storm damage, wear and tear, or unexpected repairs, our team worked tirelessly to ensure every roof was installed with care, precision, and long-lasting quality.
There’s nothing better than handing the keys back to a homeowner knowing their home is safe, secure, and ready for whatever comes next.
Transforming Land Across North Georgia
Beyond roofing, 2025 was a standout year for land transformation.
Our forestry mulching services helped create wide-open, cleared spaces from overgrown properties — turning once-unusable land into functional, beautiful areas ready for fencing, homes, trails, and more. We also completed countless landscaping and land-clearing projects, restoring sod, shaping hardscapes, and breathing new life into properties of all sizes.
From rugged terrain to pristine residential spaces, every project reflected our commitment to thoughtful, high-quality work.
Honored to Be Recognized
This year brought a huge milestone for our team.
In 2025, Southern Brush was proud to be named Best of Georgia in Landscaping — an incredible honor that truly reflects the dedication, skill, and heart our crew brings to every job. This recognition joins our previous awards, including:
Best of Georgia – Tree Removal (2023 & 2024)
Best of Forsyth – Forestry Mulching (2024)
These awards mean so much to us because they come from the communities we serve. They represent trust, relationships, and the countless hours our team puts in to exceed expectations.
Rooted in Family, Community, and Hard Work
Southern Brush Landworks & Construction is proudly owned and operated by husband-and-wife team James and Tia Russell, lifelong North Georgians with a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for serving their community.
