Over the past several years, Southern Brush has been honored across multiple areas of our work, from tree removal and forestry mulching to landscaping. Now, we’re excited to continue that journey with our 2026 Best of Georgia nomination for Landscaping.

2023 Best of Georgia — Tree Removal
Our Best of Georgia journey began in 2023 when Southern Brush was recognized for Tree Removal.
Professional tree removal can play an important role in maintaining a safe and usable property. Removing unwanted, damaged, or problematic trees can also be the first step toward a much larger property transformation.
That work goes hand-in-hand with many of the land services Southern Brush continues to provide today, including:

2024 Best of Georgia — Tree Removal
In 2024, Southern Brush was honored with Best of Georgia for Tree Removal for the second year in a row.
Receiving the award again was especially meaningful because it reflected the continued trust our customers placed in our team.
By this point, Southern Brush had become much more than a company customers could call for a single outdoor project. Our landwork capabilities allowed us to help property owners through multiple stages of improving their land.
Tree and vegetation removal can lead directly into services such as grading, excavation, land clearing, site preparation, property cleanup, and landscaping, allowing our team to take a property from rough or overgrown to clean, functional, and ready for what comes next.
2024 Best of Forsyth — Forestry Mulching
2024 also brought another exciting recognition when Southern Brush was named Best of Forsyth for Forestry Mulching.
Forestry mulching remains an important part of what we do throughout North Georgia. Using specialized equipment, we can clear unwanted brush, small trees, and heavy overgrowth while leaving behind mulch that helps protect the soil.

Then came another major milestone: Southern Brush was voted Best of Georgia 2025 in Landscaping Services.
This award represented an exciting evolution for our company. While our previous awards highlighted specialized landwork services, the landscaping recognition reflected the wide range of ways our team can now help transform an entire outdoor space.
Our landscaping and outdoor services include property cleanup and land clearing, grading and site preparation, sod and turf installation, irrigation, hardscaping, and more.
From improving drainage and preparing a site to installing a new lawn or creating hardscaped outdoor spaces, these services allow us to look at the property as a whole.
And our work doesn't stop with landscaping. Southern Brush's expanded outdoor solutions also include fencing, roofing and gutters, exterior painting and siding, helping North Georgia property owners work with one trusted team for even more of their property needs.

We're incredibly excited to share that Southern Brush has once again been nominated for Best of Georgia 2026 in Landscaping!
After receiving Best of Georgia honors in 2023, 2024, and 2025, along with Best of Forsyth in 2024, having the opportunity to bring home another award means so much to our team.
This year's Landscaping nomination represents a service category that covers so much of what we love doing: taking a property and helping our customers see its full potential.
That can mean clearing an overgrown section of land, preparing an area with proper grading, installing sod or turf, adding irrigation, building hardscapes, cleaning up a property, or combining several services to completely transform an outdoor space.
No two properties are exactly alike, which is why our team approaches each project based on the land, the customer's goals, and how the space needs to function long-term.

While we're incredibly proud of our current Landscaping nomination, Southern Brush has continued to grow beyond the services represented by our awards.
