Big News from Southern Brush + Introducing Russell Ranch
There’s something we wanted to share with our Southern Brush family. 🤍
As many of you know, we recently ran into some issues with our Google Business profile and unfortunately lost access to our original account and all of our reviews. If you own a small business, you know how important those reviews are. They help build trust, help new customers feel confident, and honestly mean the world to small businesses like ours.
The support we’ve already received from this community has been incredible, and we’re so thankful for every single person who has taken the time to leave a review, recommend us, or simply share our name with others.
If we’ve ever worked for you in the past and you’d be willing to leave us a Google review on our new page, we would truly appreciate it more than you know. We’ll drop the link below. Every review genuinely helps our family business continue to grow.
But honestly… the REAL reason we came on here today is to share some exciting news. 👀
Most of you know us for forestry mulching, land clearing, grading, roofing, and all the “dirty work” 😂 but behind Southern Brush, we’re also just a husband-and-wife duo raising two kiddos, juggling farm life, and trying to build something meaningful for our family.
So officially… welcome to Russell Ranch. 🌾
Located here in Ball Ground, Georgia on the Ball Ground/Forsyth County line, Russell Ranch is something that has been growing quietly behind the scenes for a while now. We are officially registered Highland cattle breeders — currently one of only a few registered Highland breeders in the state of Georgia — and we cannot wait to share this journey with y’all.
Right now our farm is home to Highland cows, chickens, goats, pigs, and plenty more animals still to come. Sitting on nearly 60 acres, much of the property is still untouched, which makes this season especially exciting because we get to build and grow it organically ourselves through Southern Brush.
Over the next year, we’ll slowly begin opening the farm to:
• Homeschool groups
• Private farm tours
• Photography sessions
• Micro weddings
• Educational experiences
• Seasonal events
And honestly… we’re just excited to bring people together and share this slower side of life with our community.
We’re excited to take y’all along for the journey. 🤍
